Back To School '08

Rebel started the 7th grade this year. Can you
believe he is that big!!
Rebel definitely has a mind of his own and does
not let the opinions of others shape who he is.
He has had several obstacles and has not let that
make him pitiful. He is very strong and I admire him
for who he is.

Tallyn is in the 4th grade this year. He is the
gentle giant of his class. His principle said that
she uses him as an example of how people should
treat each other. He is full of so much compassion
it makes my heart happy.

I am so blessed that God has allowed me to
be the mother to the two best boys around!!!!

ELLIE IS 3!!!!!!

Thank you to everyone who drove to come to the party and to Brenda for making such a beautiful cake. The party was so much fun. We did have a change of plans because we had planned a swimming party and the weather called for rain and 82 degree weather. So last minuet we called around and got a clown to come out. The weather was nice but still to chilly for swimming so I'm glad we made the change.

She got so much great stuff and most of it is pink!!!! To those of you who got her makeup it has by some chance disappeared. Maybe it will turn up...hehe.

The party

Ellie and Mom-O the clown. She did face painting
and balloons...pretty good since we got her at the
last minuet because of the weather we could not
go swimming. most of the kids loved her.

This is the march to the birthday cake

I think Ellie was the last one to get her face
painted..she needed a little coaxing

The cake that Mama made

Dress up

We are really glad that Uncle Dustin got to come with Granny and Grandad

Dustin

If things work out mom and Jimmy will go and get Dustin this evening. He made it through basic training and will leave for Germany late Aug. or early Sept. that is all up to the ARMY. Mom said that he has gained like 25 or 30 pounds. I can't wait to see him. I hope he will come up for Ellie's birthday party. The boys would be so excited to see him.

Gotta love 'em

At camp he said that his hair kept getting in his
eyes and that there was another boy who kept
his hair pulled back when he played...he still
has a little to go

SNU Camp

This was the last day of camp at the awards assembly.
His team did a great job. They got 1st in their age group.
Tallyn got 3rd in the Hot Shot Competition. He had a great time.
I did OK because I was able to go and watch him play every evening.

In the dorm before he made me leave....

He went to camp with a friend's son. This is Mary and Isiah

We got the room all set with TONS of snacks and
water. They had strict instructions to shower on a
regular basis and brush their teeth after every meal.
On the third day I asked Tallyn how many times he
has brushed and he said once or twice!!!! Isiah wore
the same shorts for a few days.....BOYS!!!!!
